Welcome to the NYC Metro Modern Quilters Guild

Our mission is to develop and promote the art of modern quilting through cooperation, education and community. Our guild promotes the appreciation of quilts, encourages quilt making, supports our members’ education and furthers the growth of the quilting community.

Our Story

The New York City Metro Modern Quilters Guild was established in 2010 to offer a place for quilters to connect and create. At around 100 members, we are an inclusive guild and gladly welcome everyone with an interest in quilt making – including beginners, experienced quilters and everyone in between. We support all styles of quilt making and our guild is a place where everyone is free to explore their own creativity.
